Breathwork, Chakra Balancing, Yin Yoga

As science now affirms, the nature of reality is vibratory. We are all made of energy which naturally likes to move, vibrate and transform. From the pulse of your heartbeat to the thousands of thoughts racing through your mind, every cell and atom is born to move.

Breathwork therapies derive from spiritual practices dating back to 5,000 BC, and are influenced by the ancient Vedic Yogic ‘prana’yama (breath/life-force control) and Tibetan Tantric Tummo. The breath, which holds the key to creating energy, is often consciously and subconsciously restricted and held within the body, and this interruption to the energy’s natural flow can create a build-up of tension. Learning to expand your unique breath pattern can improve, shift and transform the way you breathe and cultivate more natural energy.

In Breathwork you will:
• release tension and stress;
• reconnect with a deeper sense of calm; and
• create the ideal environment to experience a more vibrant life.

The Chakra Balancing session involves a gentle energy realignment which aims to fill your energy field with vital life force. This has a gentle yet powerful effect, enhancing your sense of wellbeing, inner peace and harmony to facilitate true and pure healing within. Regular chakra energy balancing or clearing can transform your life by healing you mentally, emotionally, physically or spiritually. Everybody can benefit from having their Chakra’s balanced. The most common reasons people commit to these sessions include stress, anxiety, grief, feeling overwhelmed, disassociation, panic, depression and migraines. Although there are actually many chakras within our energy field, there are twelve main energy centres that I will work with to clear any ‘stuck’ energy that may be affecting your physical, emotional and spiritual self.

Once the Chakras begin to become in balance you can experience feeling:
• more aliveness in your body and heart center;
• clarity of mind;
• a sense of being grounded; and
• prevention of disease.

Energy healers all tune into the chakras in a different way. With Niso, you can expect to intuitively work on a sensory level and tune into your personal inner frequency to ensure you are able to receive the right energy for your own chakra balancing session.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced approach practice where poses are held for a long period of time in a relaxed manner, up to five minutes or more.

There are seven Yin Yoga Archetypal poses which might appear easy at first glance, the challenge lies in keeping stationary while cultivating stillness. Yin Yoga evolves into three main different levels of understanding, relating to the three main aspects of human existence.

On the physical level Yin Yoga targets bones, joints and connective tissues. There is no aesthetic ideal to reach which makes the Yin Yoga approach very liberating, rather there is an emphasis on a functional approach.

On the energetic level the practice reconnects with its roots of Taoist yoga and uses the ancient map and modern theory based on the twelve major meridians. The long holds in Yin Yoga restore harmony in the subtle body by targeting the meridian channels that run through the connective tissues.

Just as we have physical scar tissue that needs to be broken through, we also have emotional scar tissue that we can work on through the meridians. For instance, if you experience excessive anger and frustration, working on your liver meridian through specific Yin Yoga poses, acupuncture or acupressure could bring about balance and help you release these stagnant emotions that no longer serve you.

On the emotional/mental level the Yin Yoga approach prepares the student for meditation as one of the central intentions of the yin practice is the cultivation of inner stillness and a keen sense of introspection.

The benefits of a regular Yin Yoga practice that my students experience include:
• calm and balance within mind and body;
• reduced levels of stress and anxiety;
• increased circulation;
• improved flexibility;
• release of fascia and improvements in joint mobility;
• internal organ balance; and
• Improvements in the flow of prana or chi.

By becoming still in a pose and staying for a while you create gaps. Keeping the gaps empty creates space for anything that wants to come up for you. This could be anxiety, happiness sadness, boredom… any emotion or feeling you suppress and allow to drain you with all busyness in your life. Yin Yoga gives you the time and space to allow emotions, thoughts and feelings you have kept in the shadows to surface. You learn to observe only the pure physical sensations of emotions, without getting caught up in the stories or giving ‘juice’ to the stories.

Yin Yoga allows those emotions and physical sensations a way out of your system. It helps to clear the mind of these mostly unconscious emotions, and thus gives your system an opportunity to work through the blockages that those emotions have caused in the body, ultimately releasing these dense disease-causing energies.

Authentic Nutrition, Hatha Yoga, Pilates Method, Yogilates, Resistance, Rehab Training

Your body is a product of what you feed it mentally and emotionally, as well as diet and movement. The body is designed to heal and thrive at any age given a growth mindset, self-love and emotional support along with authentic nutrition and the right type of exercise.

As a Metabolic Precision Nutritionist/Body Transformation Specialist and Rehab Trainer Practitioner I will teach you Authentic Nutrition. You will learn to ‘eat to train’ rather than ‘train to eat’. You will discover how to extinguish all the contradictory information and this science-based, research-proven method will leave you with practical tools you can apply in your life. These principles will make real food and exercise work together to create enjoyable, achievable and sustainable outcomes.

My Mission is for you to understand the benefits that the quality and selection of food has on your mindset, cellular health and fitness and how this facilitates a change in everyday habits to accelerate your performance mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I am here to hold a safe space so you may commit to being the best version of yourself in your personal, family and work paradigms. You will then be in a world where you are present for yourself, your purpose, your family, career and living in your healthiest, fittest body ever.

My Services include individual and group exercise modalities that are individually tailored to your fitness level and stage of life. With a wealth of almost 20 years of teaching experience and international accreditation, I draw from the sciences of Yoga, Mindfulness, Clinical Pilates, Yogilates, Resistance and Rehab Training to create a tailored and holistic approach which will work for you.

Hatha Yoga is essentially a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body – especially your spine being the main channel – so that energy can flow freely.

Pilates Method is a linear movement technique that emphasises the stability of the spine and core. In either Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Reformer or Mat Pilates classes you work on re-educating your body’s movement patterns. You learn to breathe deeply and use your core to improve your posture and remove tension from the neck and lower back.

This inspired me to create the Yogilates Synergy System in 2014, the perfect fusion of the elements of Yoga and Pilates.

All classes are open to all levels of experience of Yoga and Pilates and are personally modified to meet your fitness and health goals.

Resistance exercise to strengthen and shape the body using the science proven Metabolic Precision’s Focused Intense Resistance Exercise (F.I.R.E.) combined with Intense Cardio Exercise (I.C.E.) to burn fat to achieve the ultimate transformation of your physique.

Rehab Training allows me to safely and effectively meet the needs of clients returning to exercise pre and post-surgery or recovering from injury. Working alongside with your chiropractor, physiotherapist or surgeon I will help you achieve functionality, strength, mobility and reduce your acute and chronic pain.

SOUL
Spirituality

Akashic Records, Human Design System, Hatha Yoga

It takes courage to look deeply within and to listen to the Soul’s Guidance, releasing the dominant critic. When you recognise and become open to living as the Soul, you then begin to honour its truth as it is called to ‘let go of the outdated conditioning and core beliefs’ of the past. As you unravel these limiting beliefs and past traumas, you unfold your True Self. Your life aligns with greater meaning and purpose as you ascend in consciousness. You will awaken able to discern between the truth and the noise that separate and divide, as your Soul wishes to lean towards peace, not drama.

This is the Soulful Path to a more fulfilling Life.

In an Akashic Record reading I shift you out of your ordinary human consciousness and into Divine universal consciousness. Each soul’s entry into the Akashic Records has two components. One is your unchanging blueprint – this is who you are as an expression of the Divine. The other that travels along this ‘Soul Print’ is the catalogue of your lifetimes. Both are an opportunity to clear what no longer serves you, enabling you to course correct to where you want to be.

Source: Human Design For Us All

The Human Design System is a synthesis of ancient wisdom – Astrology, the I Ching, the Chakras, the Kabbalah, modern science, quantum physics and genetics. This insight will empower you with transformational information which leads to you embracing your uniqueness, through an experiential journey of self-discovery.

Human Design explained:
• reveals your emotional, psychological and energetic makeup;
• gives you the self-awareness and tools to align with your real nature;
• creates the blueprint to step into your highest potential in every category of your life;
• deepens your connection to your soul’s purpose; and
• navigates your career path and authentic relationships.

Human Design is a tool kit for high performance and brings you into the flow so you may materialise what you truly want in life with every decision you make.

Hatha Yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. Yoga means the all-pervading, eternally awake consciousness that keeps the entire Cosmos in balance. Yoga is as old as the Universe itself and represents the principles of truth, love and consciousness, forming the ‘building plan’ of the whole Universe. To realise Yoga means to achieve Self-Realisation, which is identical to God-Realisation. This is the union of the individual consciousness with the divine consciousness. In this sacred space you experience the Divine power of knowing you are not your thoughts and emotions, rather you are the awareness behind them. Being ‘one consciousness’ that transcends time, ego and physical form allows unconditional love to flow and enables heart-centred perspective.
